Ok Ok...
I never meant to offend anybody. I don't mind at all putting that list in the «At the drag» section. The reason why I wanted to separate it is because I offered myself to keep the list updated by reediting periodically the list (not just a top 10). So I was expecting to invest of my time and since I don't have that much time neither, I just wanted to keep it for Gen 4. I has nothing to do with me wanting to go elsewhere or having a bad opinion about other generations. I think they are all part of an evolution and each car offers its proper characteristics that make it unique and enjoyable.

So please again, don't take it as a discrimination, I just wanted to do a list of all Gen4 with their 1/4 mile time in a different thread. After all, in the already existing thread of top 10... isn't it already separated by generations etc.? And it is surely not discrimination, it is just that people of a given Generation like to compare their car with the same Generation, sometime with other Generations and sometime with other cars, that's it!
So, I still would like to keep that separate thread. I can put it in the proper section «At the drag» and that way I commit to keep it updated, clean and easy to consult and with all the times of Gen4's not only top 10...

If someone else is wiling and able to offer the same, meaning to keep updated the 1st post with a main global list of all times for all Generations, be my guest, but I presumed not, since we are I believe more than thousands active members all Gen together...

I hope I explain my purpose clearly... I have been in this forum for a few months now and I believe that many fellow members can testify that I am always willing to help and with good intentions.

So, what about putting that thread in the proper section and here is a proposition : Why not start other separate threads by Generations with an owner of each Gen undertaking the project of keeping updated a list for ALL members that would like to include their time in the list? That would be great!

Thanks!:sun:

Aye lad -- I can vouch for you......All good intentions for sure. I'm sure everyone knows that. :)

Let's see what comes of the drag times location.

I think a separate category for all the Gens is good maybe with a separate top 10 overall category covering all Gens.

I'm pretty sure no one's offended, certainly not me. I just like to stir the *** a little.

I can't help it. It's in me nature.

As I stated, I am the moderator for the "at the drags" section.
I will update the list and add the Gen IV guys as well.
The own a SHO and that's good enough for me!

I do enjoy the occasional bickering between the SHO generations.

I also believe that we come together as a communutity to support each other reguardless of drive train or year.

A personel note:
I believe I do my part in attending several conventions, towing broken sho's back to the host hotel, helping swap out rod bearings in a parking lot, lending lights, generator, tools, parts, brain power, etc....
Being a member on this board and posting isn't in the same category as those who go out of there way to attend the conventions.
:thankyou:

Super, I will continue this list and when the «At the drags» section will be ready to host that full list, I will transfer it.
Thanks
Steve
P.S. Not just the top 10, but anyone by Gen should be able to put their times on that list and compare. That idea again is why I didn't want to have to wait or ask to someone else to do the work... If you cannot update it every week, just leave it like that, I'll take care of it no problem... I can transfer the thread under «At the drags» if it makes people happier, but I start to find all that childish. Who cares if I want to have that list? People that are interested will post their times and the others can consult it... No offense.

Any development with the update of the list? If yes, I guess I am not looking at the right place.

Thank you!

Brainerd Optimist Drag Strip North Georgia. Only got one pass due to wet track and rainy conditions. 2013 with PP bone stock. 1/8 mile 8.85 @ 80.5mph. I was very happy with the time. And my reaction time after not being on a track in ten years. cut a .564 light. I can see this car being a very good bracket car.
