How'd everything go? I was in Livonia today, got suckered into attending the girlfriend's cousin's graduation party. I wish I could have had some time to stop by, or some extra gas for that matter, I only had less than 3 gallons to make it back home to East Lansing....somebody forgot their wallet at home :bonk:

awe man, it wasn't looking too pretty when i left, which was after midnite.

The positive cable off the starter of the new engine would NOT come off..all the wires were cut when the motor was taken out, so there was less than a foot of cable dangling from this starter that no one realized wasnt connected to anything..

..go to start car...*click*, then all electrical power is gone.

we found the cable that needed to go to the starter, but neither Jim, I, or Bret and his friend knew how to get it off...but they were still working on something when i left.

At the time, the car also needed to have the shifter hooked up, intake bolted down, y-pipe connected (or at least semi-connected)..and maybe engine mounts? i can't remember...I dont think the PS cooler was mounted when i left..and probably a slew of little things as well..

A good bit of people popped in for a while, i'm glad i stayed.

The white 91 looks to be a pretty nice car, i was hoping i could hear it fire up...but after almost 10 hours there..i had to return home.

I'm sorry that Marcel and I didn't make it down there yesterday. We got his car done without too many problems, though we had to do a little modifications in order to get his 96 rear upgrade to work. My car on the other hand.......was oh so my car. A simple thing turned into a pretty big headache and it was 9:00 before we even stopped to order dinner and have a few brews to drink and relax for the rest of the evening. We finished up my car this morning as well as his spare transmission work. We went out for a bite to eat for lunch and then he had to head home.

Ryan, I take it that you found your IRCM?

We left Cheboygan at 5 am, got there around 10:30... ate, then worked till 2 am on the car, and no luck...
it was a straight up pain is the ****!!!

To bad we couldnt go home with smiling faces, but on the other hand we left with our bodies covered in grease and what else was thrown at us, time and a loss of money for our BUEATIFUL( not) stay at some ghetto A$$ hotel that costed 100$.

It was nice meeting you guys, Ryan, Matt, Jim, Matt(Chef), Perry, and Curtis. Thanks for all the help and i learned alot! KNOWLEDGE IS POWER! Hope to meet with you guys soon.

I know I am pretty much THE man! BTW nice meeting everyone else. I feel bad that we couldn't get the car going. Unfortunate you guys had to leave early because Toledo racing was some of the best I've seen that night. We even coaxed my buddy with his nitrous powered 99' Vette out. Damn that car is fast now that everything is tuned. I even got to beat the crap outa my car a little bit too.
