I know I am pretty much THE man! BTW nice meeting everyone else. I feel bad that we couldn't get the car going. Unfortunate you guys had to leave early because Toledo racing was some of the best I've seen that night. We even coaxed my buddy with his nitrous powered 99' Vette out. Damn that car is fast now that everything is tuned. I even got to beat the crap outa my car a little bit too.

damnit..

Jim, i will meet you guys down there sometime during the summer...it sounds freaking sweet. Maybe after i get my tranny shifting better, and a good tune-up under my hood..i might even let the SHO indulge itself

Ohh ya im gonna make a post for a meet Next saturday in Warren

Hey guys...This is Taylor a.k.a. the "want to buyer" of the white 91...as for what's left on the car...motor mounts, tranny mounts, trans hookup  which is like a foreign language to me, and figuring out what the heck is wrong with the power to make it just click and lose power and not start. I really appreciate all of you guys that popped in and helped, jim, curtis, and matt, perry you just confused me with your endless knowledge of these cars. other than that, I know nothing else. I'm 4 1/2 hours north and am looking for someone to pop in and finish the job for me, I told ryan I would pay whoever got it running. Any generosity would be great on my part, and in someone elses pocket :naughty:

thanks kurt..but I think I've decided to hold off on the finishing up of the project..I found a black 91 near to mint interior..AND IT RUNS..for 2 g's so basically I'm not taking this car unless the black one falls through. I'll let everyone know asap if I still want it otherwise than that it's up for sale..I just don't feel like messing with it anymore and the interior needs ALOT of work so i dunno...thanks tho kurt and everyone who helped, i'll have thos pics up as soon as i get the time to sit down for about 30 mins or so. and to ryan...i think you owe me, and everyone else who worked on that car a good one. 14 1/2 hours of work and i'm not even taking the car now... :oogle:

i dunno i think thats bs... IMO, dunno about what everyone else thinks? But sorry to say, Ryan- you didnt say there was that much stuff to do, you left out things we did or had to do to get it running... SO i do think you owe everyone that helped.

Taylor and I both wasted over 100$ 100 on gas and 100 on hotel because we worked on that car for 14 and 1/2 hours... BS when you said it would take... only a few.
so w/e
i still aint happy, and i aint happy because my buddy isnt the most pleased person anyways with this whole situation.

Not to be sticking up for anyone and what not or start a war but what needed to be done that it took 14 hours?

I could have pulled the engine and reinstalled it and had it running in that time.
This is the White car correct? I do believe i was there for that install and there wasn't that much left. IIRC

Whatever you guys think. I told you what all needed to be done. Go look at the post for the 91 sho for same. I said that i just got the motor put in and everything needs to be hooked up.. You guys just took ALOT longer then it should of..I understand that you guys did not know much besides the basics.

Basically i told you the main things. Motor mounts, Radiator/fan, exhaust, starter, intake and some connectors...There were a few small things i forgot to be exact with... clutch cable and shifter cable..

I knew it was going to be a long day when they asked where are the motor mounts and how do you hook them up.

This is what i was wondering when we did it before why didn't the motor mounts go in with the car?

the way i did it was undid the bottom bolt pulled the engine with the mounts. transfer them to the new engine then drop cake!!!
