Door lock questions

I am getting sick of my automatic door locks, I dont need them and they seem to just cause problems. They never worked until i replaced the front seats in my car, now they work. So my question is, is there any way to disable just the door locks? I do not want to pull the fuse and disable many other things. Second is my unlock button doesn't work so I cannot unlock the car while in it. I changed the master and it still didn't work. Fuses are good. What could be the issue with this?
