door handle - exterior won't work - interior will

one problem after another
the rear driver's door outside handle doesn't work
doesn't grab or anything
the interior handle works perfectly
and ideas?

Have you checked the child safety switch on the side of the door?

Have you checked the child safety switch on the side of the door?

child safety latch would be the other way around

theres only 3 things that it can realy be:

1)broken exterior handle
2)linkage popped off
3)latch mechanism is damaged in some way

pop off the interior panel and have a look see
