Does anyone know how to set the alignment on the doors? (specifically the front drivers side door)
When I drive, it sounds like the window is open, and air is coming through the top where the weatherstriping is. Weird thing is...it never leaks water! I just want to tighten up the seal between the door and the body...any help would be appreciated.

I would say just take it some where. I just put a back door on my car and we played with it for about an hour just to get it close. Ended up takeing it to a local body shop they had it for half a day and the door is perfect. Only cost $40 which is a lot better then messing with it for another hour or so.

I have the same problem with the drivers side door. Sounds like the window is cracked above about 65 MPH. Doesn't leak water...there's 2 seals there, there's a seal that runs up the side of the A pillar and along the roof line and ends at the C pillar and then a seal around the door. It leaks around the one that follows the roof line.

My door is noticibly cocked with the bottom too far in and the top too far out.

I'd take it to the body shop and spend $40, but my budget is tight right now, if I can do it myself I'd like very much to.

I fixed the problem...heres what I did:
The door latches onto a peg on the B pillar. On the top of that peg is a star key slot (biggest one I had). I loosened the peg and pushed it back (towards the inside of the car) by tapping it with my wrnch. I pushed it back far enough that my problem disappeared, and my door is perfectly aligned now =)

I get that same "open window" sound too. But my door latch peg is pushed in all the way already. The biotch of it all is that the torx bolt thatthe door catches on never stays tight. It allways backs off again in a day or so, and the door is actually dented a little where the catcher hits the strike plate.

Just an update on my situation...

I looked at it and I couldn't find a Trox wrench big enough to loosen the thing, but I think it's it's in as far as it'll go.

I think it's alignment still, because the bottom of the door looks like it's in too far and the top of the door looks like it isn't sealing tight. The drivers door looks like | when it's supposed to look like \.

Any solution here?
