Just as a heads up; my Dad and my sister are living next door at the house with the Shop.. So if any AZ SHO Club people come over, please be aware that we only have the shop right now and please park either behind the shop or by the Pumpkins or next door at our house. I'd like to leave the whole front of the property for their use only. Drive in our place and go arround the back to the Shop.

Thank you for your consideration.

Hi, my name is Nick. I live in Goodyear AZ and I am new to this forum. I have a modified red 97 and a love for all things SHO. I'm a student @ UTI/Ford FACT (automotive tech school in Avondale). What type of events do AZSHOC members attend and how can I get involved? E-mail @ [email protected]

Tom : glad to know dad is all settled into the outhouse. You did a wonderful job making that a very nice place.

Nick: welcome to the forum and to AZ. You must have applied for our AZ SHO club position for the UTI student. Seems we always have a UTI student in our club. Chris just left us at the begining of the summer.

Check in this AZ section for meeting times and dates. No regular schedule though we are hindered by schedules on occasion. There are a group of folks getting together in Tucson on Saturday for a drag day.

Tom,

So does this mean no more raucous midnight parties in the shop with loud cursing at northern rusted suspension fasteners?

Not that that would apply to any of us...

Laugh at my rust all you want, there old buddy old pal, but I have yet to see an AZ raised SHO that doesnt have sunburned rubber and cracking dash parts. This sun is brutal on rubber stuff. Least my somewhat cancered car smells a bit like new inside.

Hey whats up Nick. You should post some pics of your car, it looks real good, deffintly include your mods in your sig man. Funny that you finally posted after reading the forums for so long. :snicker: ;)

Edit: Nick car is very fast for a gen 3. The only gen 3 I've raced in fact. We were pretty even a few different runs from 30, 60 a few times up to 110 or so. I would start off losing because I wasn't in the best gear, or wasn't at optimal speed but then I would start to pull on him, then there was too much traffic and I would have to let him in. It sounds nasty with the borla exhaust though! :salute:

read: time to time= 18 hours of work to put in a suspension that should have been done in about 5. Eric will not let me live that down. Which is why I wont let him live down the hammer pinstripe on my fender.

Doh!

Tom polishes parts, I ding 'em. :frown:

BTW, my car's been an AZ car from day one and it doesn't have any cracks in the dash or crinkly rubber.

So there...
