I got an 89 and Im gonna do a major service to it. The engine has about 60,000 on it and the car has 181,500 on it. thumbs_u I'm already doing my wires and plugs. thats a given, but is there anything else I should go about changin other than the plugs and wires? The engine has been pretty well maintained. Any comments would be great.

You'll get more replies in the section just above this one. The 60k service is upcoming. The parts start to get a little expensive so do this yourself and accumulate the parts over time. The best guide I've seen is the 60k how to video available at sho nut performance or from drivinhard here on the forum.

Here's the package description for some of the service levels we do (temporary / backup site).

It's a pretty decent amount of work, but you can do it if you take your time & step through it. Get Mark's 60k Video for sure. I'm literally around the corner from you. Swing by sometime & if I've got the time, I'll point out a few things.

Good luck!

Hello! And welcome to the forum. For a good parts list, check out the how-to section of the forum, right on the front page. There is a parts list there, complete with part numbers, courtesy of Scott Patterson.
