The SHO will run fine no matter what temp is outside. But when it is hot and humid outside it does not like to start no matter what the engine temp is. I will crank a couple times and it doesn't sound like their is spark then on the second to third crank it will crank with a spark and sputter to life. Once running no issues whatsoever, and will restart just fine within 30 min. Any ideas? Thanx,
Doug

Try turning the ignition key to ON without starting the engine. Do this once or twice then turn the key immediately to START. If the engine fires quickly, the problem is likely to be the discharge check valve in the fuel pump is letting the fuel line pressure leak down. Turning the key to ON lets the pump reprime the fuel system pressure. I don't think this is the problem though.

Do you smell unburned fuel when the engine starts? If yes, try pressing the gas pedal to the floor when cranking to see if that lets the engine start more quickly. You may have a flooded engine from a leaking injector, but that shouldn't prevent all of the cylinders from firing.

Yes I have tried priming the fuel pump up to 5 times before attempting to start and it makes no difference and no I have not smelled unburned gas. I ran out once to look at the pipes right after it started and I noticed a white/gray smoke coming out of the pipes for about a sec after it started and it wasn't condensation. When it does start it kinda stumbles like each cylinder is trying to speed itself up but can't then it finds itself and runs fine. If I turn it off let it sit for a few min it fires right up.
