Does anyone running a Quaife/WaveTrac have a trans temp gauge?

I am going to install a pump and cooler onto my trans but before I do anything I want to get input from anyone that has a trans temp gauge. What temps do you see when the diff is really working? What is the highest temp you have seen with the diff? I plan to autocross it when its all finished but want the protection for the longevity of the fluid and components.

I don't have a trans gauge but I do have a quaife and track my car regularly. I have not noticed any issues like burnt or discolored fluid with my set up though. From what I recall from others with quaifes is that it depends on your setup and climate. A very tight pushy car in a hot climate may need additional cooling. A loose car, cooler climate does not.

But that is for open tracking. For autocross only, it should never be an issue, just like brake fade. I would spend my money elsewhere.

I never had a trans temp gauge but I had 5 or 6 years of tracking my 1990 quafie equipped car and the only trans issues I had was the diff pin exploding pre quafie and 3rd gear syncro didn't seem to exist in single digit temps until it warmed up. The last 2 or 3 years of ownership was 95% track (roadcourse) use and 5% street use to verify repairs or to frighten friends driving sideways.
