Hey guys im planning on reviving my 91 it has been sitting for six yrs we start it every six months or so and drive it around the block.it has 185-200k on the clock (speedo stopped working at 165k)the car has been babied its whole life it was my dads and he bought it almost new in 92.me and my dad are going to change the timing belt(it has original belt) this spring we have checked valve lash and they were good.my ? is do you think it will run better after we change the belt?it runs ok now but nothing like it did. when you get into it it kinda falls on its face.Im hoping after we change the belt it will wake it up a little bit.im sure the belt is really loose being the original belt.we just did the timing belt on my dads 92 so we've got it down.
Am i hoping to much out of an almost 20yr old car with alot of miles or does she have a chance?

thanks, david

It won't change how it runs. But a full front 60K service is in order. Original fuel pump? It may be getting weak. Check for codes. Check operation of secondaries. Is the fuel fresh?
