Many people will drop down to the next lower tune during the winter months i.e. 93 to 91. Just to accommodate for weather related conditions.
If you are running one of our tunes it is not required to get a "winter tune" as our tunes are all season/all weather. Some people just like the added security blanket of the reduced power output while still maintaining the drivability aspects that come with the tunes.

Thanks for the info. I live in Arkansas so road weather conditions are rarely an issue.

Switched down to my 91 Stage 4x for the above reason. I'll put 92 or 93 in when I'm near it, otherwise I just put 91 in. Cold weather makes up for the less aggressive tune too.

Yes, no way I'm running an aggressive e20 tune in the winter.

I drop mine down but only because this car seems to add so much timing at part throttle in cold weather (IAT timing table) which causes me excessive part throttle knock - that and the "winter" gas. Dropping down to the 91 tune helps. I've never had a problem at WOT though on either tune with Winter gas.

I'm running my 14psi e20 tune, it was 11 degrees yesterday... lol.. no knock here. I have good gas even in the winter. Just let the motor and trans warm up before the skinny pedal hits the floor

As long as you're watching fuel pressure. Not worth the risk to me.
