I was just messing with yah. Although I don't think you will see a huge difference in your wallet running the tune on a road trip. 93 should net a little better mileage. No tune may keep you out of trouble on the way though. Don't know where you are going but be careful in VA, they don't play around when it comes to speeding.
Yeah, I know you were. Lol. Seriously, though, I’ll have to play around with it and see what the overall cost difference is. Maybe I’ll try it next trip and do 93 on the way down and 87 on the way back and see what overall mileage difference is. I just drove about 500 miles a couple weeks ago and saw near 27 mpg stock running 93 octane averaging 80 mph. That’s a lot better than I expected. The wife’s Ecoboost Flex barely manages 21 mpg.

I’m not heading near Virginia, but I know what you’re talking about. I’ve driven through there more than once. There are cops everywhere hiding. I think it’s the only state where radar detectors are illegal, too—not that it stopped me from running mine. I just moved it way down near the dash where it wasn’t visible. Mine is immune to VG2 so I wasn’t worried about them detecting it.

I've never calculated mileage while stock so I can't compare. The gauge in the car says 18 but I commute with a lot of NY traffic so that's not a fair comparison, 25mpg on road trips with the tune and I have a PP car with deeper gearing as well.

I looked on rockauto. I buy tons of crap from them. They were 47.67 with shipping and tax. I paid 43.99 on eBay and I got 4.40 in eBay bucks back. They were more on amazon and everywhere else I looked too. Maybe the price went up since you ordered yours. The 3 bar was cheaper on eBay than anywhere else I could find too.
