Do I need a Tune to run my BBBs and ported Intake?

I have a Intake manifold ported and ready to go with the BBBs I wanted to know if I needed a tune when I put it on or can I just install it and go?

As a side note, to benefit from the ported intake, port matching really needs to be done, i.e., the ports on the heads also need to be enlarged to match the intake, otherwise turbulence occurs at the junction between the enlarged intake ports and the smaller head ports. A dremel tool can be used.... there used to be a how to write up on the forum for port matching.
