do I have a bad CPS?

Lately my car has just been dieing as I roll up to a stop. Its also hard to get is started and stay running right after. If i let is sit for a about 2 minutes, its usually ok. Any ideas?

Sounds like the IAB valve... its located oppisite of the throttle body, and is cylindrical. Has a two wire connector.

You can remove it, and clean it. I have used berrymans, electrical cleaner, and some other stuff, and they all have worked... take that info as you may.

EDIT: Dam.. i thought you were refering to the V6....

Im not too familiar with the V8's IAB location... but it still sounds like its the culprit.....

My 97 use to do that until I cracked the throttle plate open a hair.
