My 95 mtx with 60K has a small coolant leak. It only leaks after a cold start, and then only a tablespoon or so. After it warms up just a little, no more leak. I got under it today while it was running to see if I could locate the source, but could only see it dripping off the cowling around the radiator at the bottom drivers side. That seems to be only place where there is moisture. The radiator was replaced at 37K. Anyone else has this problem?

I wish I had the answer, but I think I'm having the same problem now. I replaced my lower hose, because I had a leak there, but I'm still getting a small leak and it sounds similair to what you have. I know that doesn't help.....but atleast you know you are not alone. If I find anything out, I'll be sure to let you know

You need to crimp the side tank on the drivers side with a vise grips. As the radiator warms up it expands and will seal. But when cold it leaks a bit. I had two radiators brand new that did this.

Remove the radiator and you'll see that the plastic end tanks are crimped on with aluminum tabs. Go around the entire rad with the vice grips tightening up the tabs somewhat. Do not tighten too much or you could crack the plastic. I did mine - both ends to be sure as only my drivers side was leaking and the problems has been solved. A lot cheaper than putting in a new rad that may have the same problem.
