Sorry but the above link seems invalid. Where should I look? I tried a search but didn't get anything.
Thanks

I had mine done by Dave Russell of the Colorado SHO Club. If I remember correctly ( sometimes it happens ), he said it was a pink & black wire, right up under the dash, kinda behind and below the radio. You could e-mail him at [email protected] to verify. According to him, the wire is simply a grounding wire, so all you need do, is snip it. The chime still works when your parking lights or headlights are on, but not when you simply open the door and your keys are in the ignition. Hope this helps!

Above & behind the brake pedal you should see a small black box with a 10-pin connector. You can either disconnect it and never hear the chime again, or you can clip the 4th wire (Red with a Pink band) to just disable the door chime.

I don't even need the key in the ignition on my SHO and the thing still chimes when I open the door. Pretty annoying if I'm working on the car and leave the doors open cause i'm going back and forth in and out of the car.
