I find my problem to be a loose connection on the DIS module for my 89 SHO. I was wondering if all the DIS modules are the same, I found out the 89 has a different part number and the 90-95 ones have their own number too.

Are they interchangeable for all years, or am I stuck with finding another 89 DIS?

I do not know if they are all the same, but if it helps, I just purchased a new DIS module from NAPA auto parts earlier today. It was $140 American. They also have the wire pigtails to plug into it.

You can interchange them. Yes, there were 2 different part numbers (89's were the same as the Supercoupe, IIRC).
