I have a 95 ATX , my front driver seat will move every direction but front and back. Which wires do I have to hook a battery to so I can bypass the switch and see if motor will move?

The easiest thing to do is unbolt the seat so you can move it around to work on it (even while it is still in the car).
Then you can take the side plastic off and get to the switch, which is usually the problem. I can't remember perfectly, but I think I shined up the contacts and everything came alive again.
You can flip it upside down and pull all the coffe cup lids and gum wrappers out of the track; and **** it up for the future.

You missed the point. I am trying to get the seat out, but you can't unbolt the rear one if the seat is all the way back. I am trying to see if I cam jumpstart the motor to get it to move forward and get the last screw out.

It may be the motor and not the switch.
Sit in the seat and try moving it with your body while using the switch.
A ratchet wrench sould fit under the track to remove the 13mm bolt and 18mm nut.

I previously tried moving seat and holding switch at same time, I already got the rear side one off , but I cant get the 18mm one off, I don't have a ratchet wrench that size. Just exploring my options before I tear the cushion off.

Have someone hold the switch, while you push from the rear seat with your feet. Think leg presses...

See if the battery voltage drops while you hold the switch, then you will know if the motor is or is not getting power.

also if you are able to reach it (cant remember) try tapping the motor a few times while pushing the switch you might be able to get it to move just enough

There is no voltmeter on the dash, and I don't hear any voltage drain on the engine when I move the switch in other direction. I do notice a click when I move it back, and nothing when I move it forward. All other movements work.

I took the switch apart, and messed around with the contacts for a while, and it finally started working. Thanks for all the input.
