SHOSource? Which is it? is the flasher included or is it an option? Quoted from shosource.com...

The Grote electric flasher module can be included as an option included to reduce confusion and make the lights a true drop-in replacement.

We also offer the Black Out LED lights as well to truly set your SHO apart!

Tech Notes

Includes the grote flasher needed so that they will flash correctly.

the LEDs will have less resistance than a regular bulb, so the flasher module will make them blink like they normally would, or at least that was my understanding.

An old style flasher is like a circuit breaker, two different metals make up the contact and when x number mA flow through and heat up the contacts one of them peels away. So changing the lights in any way that increase the current will decrease the amount of time it takes to flash. The electronic flashers are not load based and have fixed timer circuit therefore no matter the load the same flash rate results.
