i just finally got a chance to get back to TN to work on the 95 and got the tranny out and was gonna put in the new one and the TOB was fairly dirty so i decided to put my new one in it but.......when i went to put my new one in it its to big......and i know its the right one because i took it off the other tranny.......the new tranny im putting in is from a 89 cable shift and the old one in it was from a 92 rod.....should the TOB be different sizes or is somthing else going on??

Sounds as if you need to install the quill sleeve.

If you don't want to go that route, I have a new and unused TOB that doesn't require a quill sleeve. BCA 614060. It's yours for shipping if you want it.

Is the 614060 the rev. A or rev. B throwout bearing? What number is on the opposite side of the bearing? Is it BCA FC-01338C ?
