Was wondering if anybody knew if the crank to flywheel bolt pattern is a common ford bolt pattern or if it is SHO only. Hoping to use a lighter/different clutch system on a rwd application.

Thanks for any help

Well you can find 9lb flyheels so you can get light ones. I know of Lupo using a Tilton 3 disc clutch system in his Ranger SHO.

Well I've noticed that. What I was trying to do was potentially replace the SHO flywheel with one from a mustang or other ford engine so that I could get a larger clutch with the correct input size and spline for a T-5. And there is a more extensive selection of clutches there.

doesnt work, theres not enough room inside the bolt pattern for the bellhousing

mating a t5 can still be done, and its outlined HERE
