differance between atx/ mtx maf?

I doing the wiring on my 3.0 mtx into festiva swap.

I used a 3.0 mtx harness on everything but noticed my MAF is off a ATX 3.2 and the plug is slighty different.

I can modify the 3.0 MTX harness plug to fit or just splice an ATX pig tail onto my MTX harness but is there any differance between the two MAFs?

I would just put the 3.2 pigtail on the mtx harness, It would save some time.... But I will let somebody else that has done this before...

As far as I know all V6 SHO's use the same MAF.
Swap away.

it's the same MAF. just swap the pigtail. i had to do the plug swap with a junkyard MAF i got once, and it worked mighty fine.

Buy a safety torx and the problem is easier than removing a phillips screw.

For ****. Just buy the little black container full of bits (it might be blue now) at Advance Auto Parts and it'll have every bit you could ever need to work on the SHO. Just don't lose that 5mm hex; that's the one that goes to the valve cover bolts. They have tamper-proof torx bits in them that fit the ones on the MAF mighty fine.

just swapped my 94 mtx's out with a spare maf from my old 94 3.2 atx....work like a dream and what a difference when your maf goes bad/dirty.
