Being a science minded person, I enjoy trouble shooting problems, but it does get frustrating sometimes when you continue to defy all odds.
My car was missing a bit and I suspected plugs as I just put new wires on but didnt put in my new plugs yet as they were still going strong. I figured it was about time to whip out the new FPS motorcrafts. I did the front bank last night, figuring my odds were 50/50 I get the bad plug. No dice. Mind you the miss is minor to any normal driver, but I know my lady, she was stumbling just a bit on the low end. Having some spare time at lunch, I got 2 of the 3 rears done (hey I love my car and like it to run good even if I only drive to work). Now I figure my miss would go away having replaced 83 percent of my plugs. Hmmm....miss seems the same. Oh oh, might be my wires, nah, new motorcrafts are good. Came home today and nabbed that last plug (dreaded #3). Was hoping the miss would go away as I was thinking maybe a more serious problem.
Pulled #3 and inspected it: arc marks and a big ol scuff on it. Yup, the last possible plug to replace of course thats the bad one. (Problem solved, but geesh, it couldnt have been #5 could it? nooooooooo, mike's gotta pull 6 before he finds a bad one.
