Did my TOB explode?? (pics)

Tim and I put in a stock clutch with a SHONut TOB in my 91 about 5,000 miles ago. I took it apart recently to swap in a new motor. My pressure plate and TOB had grease all over it. We put in the pressure plate, TOB, and input shaft with no grease. Just curious. Here are some pics:

Looks like you need a new rear main seal and or carrier gasket.. But I think someone else with more experience might know something different.

Forgot to mention: Rear main and carrier gasket were replaced. The tranny case was dry from any grease. Just the TOB and PP had grease on them.
