ok i wanted to try and swap mafs becuase the one i have in the car is reading low voltage even after cleaning it. But i have a spare intake box from a 90 and they look the same but part #'s don't match. SO could i swap them and would they work? Also did 90's come with maf's or air density meters?

Not sure about the swapping. All SHO models were MAF.

All SHO's ever made are mass air, and all V6 meters are interchangeable regardless of year (but may have different engineering part #'s on the electronics).

They are, in fact, a little different. The lower half mounts differently due to the lack of an ABS computer.

Correct, I was assuming he was talking about the lid since he was asking about swapping maf's.
