First off I would like to say Thank You Bizzy for all your hard work that goes into the forum, you do a wonderful job. I have a suggestion that I would like to see and maybe others would too. Myself along with others LOVE to keep our cars very clean and I wouldn't mind seeing a section dedicated to the detailing and cleaning of our cars. Just a suggestion, if you don't like it that's fine, just thought it was a cool idea. Thanks in advence.

That would be a nice section to have. I work at a dealership and have always enjoyed cleaning cars (ones i drive lol) but with the skills i have picked up, i do some cars on teh side for cash. Also do my cousins mustang and stuff since he helps me out alot. I'm no mechanic, and he is in the process of becoming one.

I've been picking up tips/skills at work and also buying some products from our supplier. Would be great if we had a section to share knowledge and results of our hard work.

I'm guessing "SHO Related" (if you're detailing an SHO) would be a good spot for those posts. Or the off topic forum.

When I ran the TCCA we created a detailing section of the forum, and honestly it was a bad idea. Opinions raged, and it ended up being a bitchfest that neither Midol nor Pamprin could cure.

Personally, if I want to read about detailing stuff, a detailing specific forum is the place for it.

Back in Michigan ... again.
As long as product arguments are kept out of it, I think a detailing section would be a great idea. I'd be happy to helm it; set up a couple different forums for armchair detailers and pros. There's a LOT of magic that can be done to a paint that most people don't realize, and it's not really that hard to accomplish.

+1 for a detailing section, and I'd be happy to kick it off with a primer on high-speed machine polishing :)
