Hey, I got those Khumo Solus' on my 07 camry and they do NOTHING for performance! It's either time for you so take it easy or buy some slicers!

The Yokos are ok. I would be tempted to run the Fuzions for the price.

I would shop the same tires at discounttiredirect and compare prices after shipping.

Do a search for 215/65/15. You get 32 choices. Granted, a few more are winter tires, but there are decent tires in the list. Then there are tires like the GY Eagle GT that come in a 215/60/15 size.

I bought 215/65/15 GY Eagle GT-HR tires for the red car two years ago, but I see they don't carry that size anymore.

In your list, the Exalto, P6, Sumi HTR and Yoko Avid are all pretty decent. And SHO folks also seem to like Fuzions.

Thanks for posting. I'll be getting a set of lace wheels for the white car, and will need tires.

I've decided on the 89, To go with 17's based on the tires choices for the basketweaves... But stock brakes on 17's look like crap... So I'm forced to put on the extra set of Wilwood FSL's I have at the house. *sigh*

Thought Id update this.

After sifting through review all over the net, I decided to jump on a Set of Potenza RE960AS's

215/60-15

4 of them shipped to my door for $405 :)

They really seem like they will fit the bill. Seeing that this car is fading from a "fun" car to a simple commuter, and long distance hauler, these should do great. And the reviews are insanely good.

Looks like a good choice!

In fact, I may consider them. I'm turning the white '89 into a business vehicle for commuting to/from KY. Since I need to deal with bad weather in that role, either good a/s tires, or Nokian WRs will fit the bill in a 15" size.

I don't know how I'm going to survive...Two Wilwood equipped cars and another with a 13'' PBR setup off a C4 Corvette ZR1... I'm so deprived. :(

-Sam

I'm sure you know how to maintain and rebuild those wilwoods.. must suck to have all that maintenance

The Bridgestone Potenza Re960a is an awesome tire, I have a set in the 225/55/16 w rated size on my 93 atx, they are pretty darn good in the wet, and seem to handle better than any other all season tire I've had on my various sho's . The fuzion HRI construction is very similar to the Potenza G009, now the G019. Side tread blocks very similar, sidewall stiffness seems to be about the same, and I believe the UTQG ratings are identical too. Fuzion is a bridgestone/firestone brand.
