He probly thinks it's a V6, the way my exhaust guy described the diff in the delta vs the original 40 is the original only has one V and the delta has 3. He siad they sound the same to his ears.

it should be the very first mod performed on any v8 sho :thumb:
For less than $100 shipped to your door, you can't beat it. They give it a VERY nice growl... people will definitely turn their heads.

Well, maybe one of the first THREE mods (saxacone removal and cams welded) :D

Go with the Flowmaster 40 Race Series....you won't be dissapointed. I still have my third cat and resonator on and it is very noticeable inside and out. People at the SHO convention were impressed and my car was louder than some people's with the magnaflows and cat and resonator removed.

We have installed the 42443's on probably about a dozen customer cars now, and they are all thrilled. With the 3rd cat & res, w/o the 3rd cat & with res, and w/o 3rd cat & res all sound great. The "Original" 40's are a lot louder, and with no 3rd cat & res it borders on obnoxious. Haven't tried the "Super" 40's yet, but I might put them on my '97 once the motor is done just to see the difference.

I have Delta flow 50's. Like 'em alot. Not all of us want to be "in your face loud." I said it before and I'll say it again. If you want everyone to hear you coming and going go with the original 40's. However, if you'd like to be a bit more discreet go with the Delta's. It's your choice. FWIW.
