Just start pulling stuff off....

As for the A/C bracket, just gut the compressor and put it back in(with or without the belt) or make a plate for the bracket.

The only things you can really pull off are the condensor, lines, accumulator/dryer, and the internals (or whole)from the compressor. But that adds up to something like 50lbs...

that would be the condensor. :thumb:

That could work, but you may have to make a bracket for it, so it will mount to the stock plate....

I would like to tell you that im have been running without the a/c compressor or any type of reinforcement on that plate for a year, but, you know....

It really is a good idea to reinforce it.. one of these days i'll get down in there and put a brace on it...

so you are saying that is a good idea to build some kind of plate to mount the new A/C bypass pulley on it, for reinforsment purposes?

yes you can pull it all out.... but i would recomend that you have the system evacuated by a shop, instead of just letting it out into the air...

And yes, that would be a good way to do it. but you really dont need that pulley. FWIW, im just running a shorter belt, and have no issues with rubbing.
However, im not sure on the blower belt setup... so, you may in fact need that.. im not sure though....

i haven't had a chance to do my with all the holidays shopping and work around my house so, i cant tell you the exact size but, i guess you can always use the old trick of the taking a line and wrapped around the pulleys and measure it to get the right size.
remember to loosen up the pulley adjusting screw before doing the measuring!:thumb:
