I could have swarn some one posted a "how to" make your head light glass clear again. I have found too much use of bag and tar products leave a haze on the glass. I figured some buffing compound and a buffer might do it.

Is my memory that bad ? Did I see it in some other forum ?

How would you get the crap off the glass ?

meguiers makes some good stuff that i used on the truck. comes in a red bottle. i cant remember the name of it right this second but you hand buff it on with a lint free cloth, let it dry like wax then wipe it off, took my lenses from yellow and barely letting light though to about 5year old truck.

Just used the Mothers powerball, $25 split between Neno and I and we're both happy. I wanted it for the old Mercury, did my sho headlights, fishtanks, and tail lights, wifes windstar, and Nenos headlights.
Don't expect it to look brand new, but sure made the light pattern better.
I only have about 40k on those new lights on the sho but made them better too.

FYI I used a dremmel to shave down the plastic teets sticking out of the headlights years ago, we did that on Nenos too so you won't snag wash rags etc.

3M makes a pretty decent 4 or 5 stage kit. It worked very well on my car. I think I only gave about 15 bones for it.
