Oil level

Yea it shoule be oil level lead wire because its only thing that really cannot be unplugged like rest of connectors without screwing the big ****** out of oil pan... I have seen friend's sho that way(dead wire) too. What I did to both of mine was cut it, soldered extra length wire to it and created a connector so can be unplugged when needed. Only wire I didn't understand why ford would create conflict to it.

looks like the low oil level sender wire, that attaches to the sensor on the oil pan

AHA!

I was looking at the photos wrong. :oogle:

Yes, the sensor in the backside of the pan is the low oil level sensor.
The wire lead runs upwards, is held tight against the motor by that clip, and continues upwards.... right past the OIL PSI sending unit (also inside the square box drawn on the photo:oops: )

Thanks alot guys! Probably one of the quickest and most informed group of people to help me with a problem so far. It definitely looks like it does in the pic proved by shopheonix (thanks 93rev2sev) and everyone else who helped me out! Much appreciated guys! :) :thumb:
