I recently had an oil change done to my 95 ATX, drove it around to a few places, then came home and parked it. After 20 minutes i was ready to leave again and the car wouldnt start. Some friends said its the alarm for which i no longer have the remote to, we've taken out the brain of the alarm yet the car still wont start. Ill turn the key, all the lights turn on, no sound from the engine at all, no clicking or nothing, and the lights dont flicker meaning my starter is ok. So could it be some wire im missing having to do with the **** switch or is there soemthing under the car that the mechanics didnt tighten after giving me the oil change that might have came lose and wont let my car start? Help! its been 2 days and im car-less!

Well, if you removed the alarm brain box and didn't jump or re-splice the starter lead from the ignition switch, then you have an open ckt which will prevent it from starting.

yeh we did that, and for some reason it wont start. Hmmm.. see last time it happened RIGHT after the oil change, and the guy had to get back under the car and do soemthin down there and THEN it turned on, i really think it doesnt even have to do with the alarm. Any suggestions? I need my car running by monday. Grrr, im 19, got 2 SHO's, and neither run!
