at this rate, we might be done painting by the next sho convention

I will take this moment to say how awesomely cool eric, troy, donovan and mike are at braving this phoenix sun and 115 degree heat. I owe them so much....in fact, I think I will invite them back to paint the inside next year.

Tom it was really nothing...of course I am the only one working in that picture.

I'd love to come back out and paint the inside, as long as I don't have to spend anymore time in the hot box.

Aside from the shenanigans with my logged in laptop, the day went great. I really do appreciate the help guys. We had two (sometimes three) coats on before the temps hit 112.

Poor Troy (Philthy); always the adventuresome type, he volunteered to do the trim-out of the gable end from the bucket truck. He loves that thing. We rigged up an umbrella to shield him from the sun but it made the gondola of the truck into a hot box. He came down for lunch feeling like the prisoner in Bridge Over the River Quai.

The shop looks amazing now with new beige paint and all 5 doors matching. Many thanks go out to Mike (F22RaptorSHO), Eric (SHOAZ), Donavan (SHOMETHEWAYHOME), Troy (Philthy), Robert (MX3SHO) and Dusty (buff pool boy).

I'm starting to ponder moving to AZ and start selling these, with the SHO Taurus logo on it of course......:nut:

In all seriousness I have been in AZ during the middle of summer and YES it's HOT, however being of middle eastern-ish decent I do quite well with it......:)

But I just can't seem to get rid of this ONE fuel pump....

Tom

I know! its funny that this two wheeled death machine you (and everyone else) seem to shudder to think about the thought of me riding has been so reliable and fun and loads faster and more manuverable and easier to stop than the SHO i haven't been focused on getting the green machine on the road. some days i do miss the A/C and the radio (ipod ear buds make it hard to hear what little the wind noise doesn't block out) and the ease of seeing where i am for other vehicles on the road.

that and AT&T ramped up to finish 2 weeks ahead of their intended deadline and the crap runs downhill straight into my lap so i've been working crazy hours.
