Yesterday i installed a new head unit becasue my factory one had all but craped out. It sounds great but now i have no dash lights. I can not figure out what the problem might be. I used a wiring harness so that it would plug strait into the factory plugs so i dont see anyway i could have affected dash wiring. I also unpluged the head unit early tonight and it didnt fix it. its also not a blown fuse i checked that. Thanks.

do you have an auto dimmer switch by your left knee? T sits just under the left side ac vent. its about a 4'' by 4'' piece that pops out with a soft screwdriver. The same thing happened to me. The lights worked outside, just no dash lights or panel lights. Try pulling that part and looking for a short. mine had a good little black mark where it shorted out. went to the junk yard and got a newer one for $15.

If you did not use the factory illumination wire for the stereo, cover up the end and recheck/replace fuse #13 closely.
