Dash crack repair question???

Anyone have techniques, advice, or other useful info on repairing a crack in the beige dash?? Any info would be appreciated.

There is a kit you can buy. You mix the color to match. It comes with a curing iron and textured fabrics. The results are marginal at best. I'd bet someone with experience could do a better job than I did. I dont know what looked worse, the repair or the crack. I've heard that there are shops that can do a really outstanding repair. Dont know for how much.

Hey man if the dash is that badly cracked, I would go and find a 93-95 regular SLO taurus at the boneyard... There really isnt that much to it... I mean there is, but if you want it to last, I would go that route... Just a thought..
