so dan wanted an update on the good ol audi. well last month i got at a gt2871r kit from a guy up in duluth. so i went and got it. last week i started ripping into it. well i broke off 3 studs that hold the exhaust manifold on the head. so i had to drill them and "easy out" them. then i decided if i broke 3 i might as well replace all 13 so i dont have problems down the road. so did that. had a **** of a time getting the cat outta there. then everything else went as planned....slower then planned but nothing too big went wrong. onto the pics

so all in all i installed

unitronics tuned ecu
415cc injectors
gt2871 turbo
head studs
test pipe
carbrino intake
forge diverter valve

now it needs more muffle in the exhaust system ha. its SOOOOOO loud i hate it, that is all, back to regular schedule programming

The powder blue rocks, no kidding. Is that car a manual? So, how much of a difference in power?

OOOOOHHH YES its a 5spd. and iam not sure on power wise...stock is 150hp. chipped is 190hp. and this they say is 250-290ish. iam not sure. all i know is its a blast to drive now haha
although i do need a front mount intercooler now that little side mount is doin work for this turbo.

What year of audi? Just wondering i've got a 01 passat 1.8t 5spd. great car. Engine looks like the 1.8.

please paint the front mount black if you get one...

and the carbon fiber must help in making it faster. starting to look like an audi i might drive.

that also must be real loud if you hate it? does it whistle? if so leave it.

yup small little turbo still....at least its not the ko3/quarter eater ha. and ya dan it whistles but it way too loud

Don't like the mudflaps or the extra light set on the front but otherwise really nice audi defineatly something i would drive anyday
