Someone had posted about cutting something off the front strut to get another 1" drop in the front end.

I lost the thread and was wondering If it was possible to do this with eibach springs.

If possible, could someone post a link or the procedure to do this ? I really wanna get a little more drop to the front end.

Thanks,

Pete

...............EDIT..................

Found all the info, sorry for the useless post :D

Going to see about doing this tomorrow...........

First go look at how much room you have before your tire hits the strut. People are cutting off the tab that the pinch bolt goes through then installing the strut lower in the bracket.
Think about the warranty its going to be gone when you modify the struts.

Well if you have the clearance and aren't worried about a warranty it is very easy to do.

Just loosen the strut, raise it in the knuckle and using the saw of your choice cut the tab.

Then lower into knuckle to the depth you desire and tighten pinch bolt. In the front be sure to leave clearance for the CV boot.
