Alright I have 92, not sure it matters, MTX

When you romp on the gas even just sitting there at 4500 it studders and will continue to do it if you hold the gas.
Same when you're driving if you get on it it misses HARD then studders at around 4500 and the check engine light comes on at the same time

I just pulled the codes... I'm not the best at it cause my concentration SUCKS. I did my best though

I got 551, 117, 221, 917, 217, 321

It's really buggin me whats wrong, I'll check the plugs on the intake here in a sec to make sure I don't have a loose one or something.... let me know what yall think though

Not sure if its what's causing your issue or not but my faulty fuel pump started this way. If it continues to get worse I'd check the fuel pump and filter. Maybe start with the filter cause its cheap and easy.

alright I went to test it out today.... it only does it when you hit the clutch at high rpm, it's like it thinks it's in neutral after that and tries to limit your rev.

which wiring? the harness? Is there a plug going to the tranny where that's located?

there is just some wiring harnesses over the transmission

you make it sound like you only have the problem when u push in on the clutch, so you have to think what is related with that process......

one time I kept blowing fuses, I figured out it only did it when I pressed down on the clutch..... when out there and found the problem! It almost seems like you have a wiring or computer problem with all those codes........

clear them and see if they all come back after the problem happens.....

You need to check the fuel pressure when under speed. The added load of air resistance will aggravate a marginal pump which may be the problem.

Here's the setup I used to test on my car and others.

Fuel pressure gage 3

Just take the schrader valve out of the fuel pressure test ****** and slip a 1/4" ID fuel line hose over it and run it to a gage.

Fuel pressure gage connection at fpr 2

the problem happens not just when you push in the clutch, when you push in the clutch at high rpm
Like today I was on the interstate kicked the cruise out so goin around 60-65 dropped it into third.... check engine light came on, after that it will shudder at 4500 rpm
Shut the car off... works fine til you do it again

alright I went and had it tested, and it cut out while testing so that probably helped locate the issue... when running it was at 30psi then when I rev'd it up it started to go up and when the cut out started happening it slammed back down to 30psi and held there.

My guess, a pressure regulator or fuel pump... any others?
