Anybody ever think of having some custom 17 inch slicers made up? I dont know if anyone likes them compared to the wheels in the aftermarket but i like the stock look but 16 just look small to me. Has it been done?

I have thought about 17 x 7 Slicers for a long time. Dunno if I would want to shell out he money they would probably cost for "custom".

I think the slicers would look great in a bigger size too. like 18" or so.....there is someone on the forum with an all white SHO with photochopped slicers on their sig....They look like 19"

IMHO the cost would be too high, and what happens if they ever get damaged?

I would just look for an already made wheel that looks the same.

17's?

If your going to spend good money for soemthing like this it better be at least 19's, factory slicers arent light themselves so weight wouldnt be a issue either way, and if weight is a concern the slicer is the last wheel you want for drag.

Cheapest way I could see this happening is making the slicer wheel a 3pc design and using the face as the 1pc face and the last 2pc for added diameter

Of course some of us "me", can afford any 19's or even larger but don't like to go any higher than 17's.

If you end up getting someone to make you some custom "slicers" please post some pics, I for one would love to see them.

It would probably cost a lot more than its worth. Besides, there are a LOT of bad ass 17 and 18 inch wheels available for the SHO that would probably cost a lot less than custom 17 inch slicers. I like my aftermarket 17's WAY better than my slicers too.
