Here is the almost finished version of the 1st badge i will offer. Will have to be primed and painted. Easiest way would be to paint it whatever color you would want the SHO then fill around with a color epoxy

The Gen II front badge has 2 long tangs that lock the badge down when inserted. Does your front badge have that feature? The reason I ask is because the picture suggests your part has a lot of depth and is not an add on to an existing badge.

But I could be wrong.

Not at the current moment. I might bypass this as for me its easier to glue it in place instead of trying to unscrew which is a pain trying to get behind the front grille. But i might eventually

I am not sure the tang thing is used on the Gen II, it is on the Gen I for sure.

Your system is ideal for someone who wants a colour match decal which is a nice touch on a car with certain colours.

I never had a car that looked good with a blue decal. My temporary solution was to remove the plastic overlay and simply leave the plastic holder, which incidentally has FORD 4.5 etched lightly in the plastic. So it is not exactly bare without the overlay.

here is the final version. 4.5x1.75.

I will supply the raw emblem as in the picture for 20 which will need minor sanding or one that is all sanded and good to go for paint for 25.

i will be sanding this one and painting or for later for my car.
