Gotta love the Chameleon paint! Not quite what I'd do, but close.

Later!

PS
Miura Green is what I would go with if I were to redo my SHO in a single color. thumb

Dammit glen, showing off your yellowness. Looks nice though! :D Can't wait for the next meeting. Also, the place where you're parked with the white rice looks a lot like the houses in my immediate area. freaky.

My friends dad took these for me in 1995 when he went to Bondurant. He had a black 91+ at the time. I had just picked my car up from the paint shop about a month prior to his trip down there.

As long as there isnt a yellow Gen 1 here in Indiana. I'm leaning more towards blue now. The yellow thing still seems cool but I haven't seen a Moonlight Blue gen 1...in Indiana.

Just repainting your car isn't that easy. You'll need to paint under the hood. Inside the trunk, take off the doors to get in the door jambs. Lots of stuff that takes lots of time. If you are changing color it isn't easy so you better be ready, I have helped my dad change cars colors before at his autobody shop, so I'm just telling you be ready for lots of so called "fun". It'd be easier to just bring it in and get a great job done for you.

I don't know about Indiana, but I saw a moonlight Blue Gen1 car pictured here. It was not as nice as the MB Gen2 cars. Anybody got that pic to share?

Another color to consider is lite titanium grey. I have a black on black 91+ with painted rearview mirrors, and I love it (especially since it's lowered and has a tint) but the lt titanium grey looks great. Very classy. There is a guy at cardomain.com that has a gorgeous car painted that color. I can't remember his name, but he does post on this forum as well.

I know about all the parts I have to paint. My uncle re-paints cars. He does bodywork and engine work in his own shop and that's where he's going to teach me how to paint, do bodywork and work on car engines. Hopefully I can get a job there.

Im guessing the yellow sable is something like what i saw the other day here in Roanoke (Va)... I was driving by this dealership, and i saw a SHO for sale, so i went to check it out. All i saw was the front from the street. When I saw the back, I got really confused, i talked to the dealer, and he popped the hood for me. It ended up having a SHO engine, and many other accessories in a sable, very unique, they were asking 5,500, i guess since it was a custom job. The dealer said the guy that did the engine/all other component swap was Joe Hatcher... anyone heard of him? Ive heard he goes to the meets. But yeah, so im guessing that the yellow SHO is actually another 'SHable'...
