Could be electrical - bad connector, bad servo, bad vss, etc.
Could be vacuum problem - vacuum leak, bad hose, hose off, etc.

You will need to do some investigating to see what you see that doesn't look right.

that sucks, my cruise control being operational is the only thing that has kept me from getting a ticket.

Me too, I can't drive 55 :D

@ the OP, there is a clip that hooks onto the throttle body that tends to come unclipped. Check that before you do any drastic electrical diagnostics or replacements.

There is a stickied post in the "How do I..." forum that gives info on the 89's CC system. As noted in that post, it should also apply to the 91.

Refer to it, then post back in THIS thread (do not post in that stickied thread).

When I got my 92, the cruise didn't work. The clip attaching the cable to the throttle body broke. A couple zip ties and it was an easy fix. good-luck. :thumb:

I had the problem where my horn and cruise control didn't work. Turns out it was the clock spring. I replaced it and everything worked like a charm.
