My cruise has the tendency to keep the speed of my car within a 5mph range. It accelerates the motor and then coasts and accelerates again. It can't hold the car at a constant speed... It gets almost sickening after an hour drive. Plus, my gas mileage suffers. Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting?

Vacuum leak maybe? Have you checked the hoses/connections to and from the servo, etc?

I haven't checked for a vacuum leak yet... I read somewhere else on here that '93 up uses a servo and not vacuum... is that true? I guess I need to go look... ;)

MTX speed control uses vacuum. ATX does not. If you look at your servo you will see vacuum lines coming off of it.

Ahhh, got it. Okay, I'll check it out. Just use a vacuum gauge on the fwy?
