I have long been looking at sourcing a more robust crankshaft for another of my supercharger projects.

Do ya'll think this one might be strong enough?

I know, right? ! ? ! ?

Fortunately, my friend Doug Lewis at Ford Performance Specialists shared some secrets with me ( Which I am sworn to never reveal) to make an AX4N into the transmission Ford SHOuld have built, and I did as instructed on the SHO R T S drivetrain.

That tranny went into service in 2007. That drivetrain outlived the car body (Rust-bug), and as far as I know is still running in one piece almost 20 years later under boost with the new owner.

Not bad.
