Finally got a chance to turn the pulley down. New weight is 5.01lb. That's over 1.59lb of metal removed or roughly 24% of the original pulley weight.
Fun fact, the pulley came from Ford .030" off-center of the core. I'm guessing this is from the rubber dampener curing slightly off. It might not sound like much but .030 is enough to visibly see wobbling on a lathe.

Too bad there wasn't a way to get the thing dead nuts centered and get rid of that .030" difference. I guess it could be made from scratch (out of billet) if somebody had the time and/or resources...

I think the vulcanized rubber takes up the .030" of slop when the engine is running. If made in solid aluminum I could CAD a replication of the stock and have it milled out of billet. Would lose all harmonic dampening abilities though. But would also probably be like 2lbs total.

Jordan, I'll DM you.

Installed! Here is the old one next to the lightened one. I installed it with downpipes and ester core oil so I can not tell if it made a difference. I mean, laws of physics says it did.

You run ot through its paces yet? Haven't noticed any weird vibrations or harmonics?

I wouldn't mind having you do this for me to at some point if you're into doing this for those of us who send you one to modify...

I'll do it for $150 if you send me back your pulley. Or make it $250 to cover the cost of a pulley. Just DM me if you want one. I'll need to know if your car was built before or after Aug 7th, 2016.
