Cracked subframe with pics

IMG 0944 IMG 0945 Got into a fender bender the other day and So I look under my car,this is what I see. How much should I worry.

I think you can V-grove it and weld it in place.
Try a few positions with a jack and see where the crack tightens-up.
It might like both front wheels off the ground, but who knows.

It would be ideal to replace it, since it is a SHO plus, but short of that, welding should do the job when done correctly.

well, that didn't happen in the fender bender, its been working on cracking for a long time.

I agree that you should be able to weld it up. You will get a nice fire if you don't clean up the oil residue before you start welding.

NOTE: Be sure to disconnect the battery, and disconnect the connector on the pcm before you start welding on the car because the welding has been known to induce enough current in the wiring to fry the electronics.
