Hey guys I've read all the posts and checked out the SHO Phoenix Projects tutorial, my question is what can I not remove, I just want to replace the CPS on my 94 MTX, I don't think the body will last to much longer.
I just need the car to stop stalling right before I get home from work everyday. I have it timed, (6 mins from start up and then the car just shuts off) luckily work is a quick 5 min rip up the highway, any shortcuts to replacing the CPS would be appreciated!!!!!!

assuming you mean the cam sensor, since that and the crank sensor are often referred to as a cps...it's quite simple. pull that engine torque dampener off, squeeze your hand in there and yank it off. if you mean the crank sensor (ckp), then there really are no shortcuts. everything's gotta come off.

You can leave the middle timing cover, timing belt, and water pump alone. You'll probably find it easier to fish the connector up in the area in front of the fuel rails instead of behind.
