I wasn't about to give Fel-Pro some of my hard earned money so I made a set of these tonight when I was redoing my plug well seals and valve covers;

Thoughts? It's 1/8" thick uncompressed and I got it torqued down pretty well. Black RTV on both sides (not pictured on top yet).

ALSO
That little hose in the back of the manifold; did you know if you don't reconnect it your car runs like crap and sounds turbo charged until it stalls out and won't restart and stay running? :laugh_ti:

<edit> I also trimmed them up a little better. I know there is a ton of overhang.

Old ones can be reused, anyway. Even if the coating is chipping off.

Soak them in paint remover and remove all the coating and then spray them with some high temp paint...let the paint tack up and install.
