i just installed a thermostat like a week ago and not long after i blew a back heater hose then today i blew the top rad hose. i dont know whats going on i bought a lower rad hose that ill keep in my trunk or just change it tomorrow when its light out again. do you think my hoses were just all going bad at once or do you think i have a problem? after the thermostat my temps are all back to normal.

Normal temps will cause normal pressure in the system, maybe your hoses were weak and it was time for them to be changed. Maybe you should install a new rad cap to be sure it in good condition as well.

your bet bet is to replace all your hoses when ever you get one of these cars.
most have never had them replaced and these cars are getting real old.
